NOW OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
RIO are now open to the public for sales of all our aggregates, sands & soils plus bagged cement. You can collect or we can arrange local delivery for all our loose products.
Small orders are welcome and we charge for all our loose products by weight so you only pay for what you take!
Local deliveries up to 4 tonnes are charged at £35 per delivery and come out on a ford cargo sized tipper truck within a 6 mile radius of our premises, further distance or larger orders prices on application.
We require 24 hours' notice for deliveries and payment can be made on account, by Visa or Mastercard credit or debit cards or cash.
Opening times are 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday and 7.30am to 12 noon on Saturday.

RIO High quality recycled materials were being used via the preferred contractors on the 2012 OLYMPIC site in East London. After the Olympics RIO were involved in recycling much of the material removed during the remodelling of the site during its metamorphosis into the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
London Gateway Project
RIO, in conjunction with their partner companies have recently supplied recycled aggregates and construction materials to the DP World site in Corringham, Essex. DP World London Gateway is a unique development that combines the UK's newest deep-sea container port with Europe's largest logistics park
RIO would like to congratulate VEOLIA Environmental Services on winning an 8 year deal with Essex County Council to manage 21 Civic Amenity sites throughout Essex. RIO accepts a range of wastes from these sites including soils, hardcore & ceramics for reprocessing and recycling at its Orsett site. The recycled products are then available for reuse in landscaping and construction projects in and around Essex and London.

Recycled in Orsett are continuing their sponsorship of local youth marching band the Hornchurch Drum & Trumpet Corps for their performances at the Essex Historical Military Vehicle Trust show in Aveley, Essex. The band members play a range of popular tunes to the huge audiences at the show which also feature hundreds of military vehicles and aircraft and wartime theatre re-enactors.

RIO are continuing to support the Orsett Show, St.Lukes hospice and the Have a Heart Charity with a display of recycled aggregates and soils as well as their range of primary aggregates and sands. The presentation encourages local businesses to use recycled aggregates in their building projects and introduced them to RIO's wide range of groundwork and building materials as well as their selection of premium and economy soils.
Star of the show, RIO TRAXMAX, 100% recycled ceramic which is being used as a direct replacement for primary shingle on pathways flower beds and walkways. TRAXMAX is already in use at INNOVA Park and other eco friendly sites around the south of England and has been featured at Hampton Court Palace gardens as a 'greener' and eco-friendly alternative to other materials.
